Appearance: Brent has a year-round tan and a tall, toned beach body. His hair is dirty blond with silvery highlights and always looks a little rumpled and his brown eyes usually look a little bit sleepy. He looks smug and lazy though he is anything but. His long legs are usually encased in jeans and he prefers casual clothes like polos, sweatshirts, and t-shirts to anything formal.

Personality: Brent is very laid-back not wanting to admit that anything ruffles him. He picks up on things others don’t, but doesn’t feel the need to share his insights. He’d rather everyone think he is self-absorbed then to realize everything he does know. He’s figuring out more and more by the moment and is taking his time to process the new information and figure out what he wants to do with it. And he cuts a dashing, romantic figure when he does things like running into a burning building to save his dream girl in distress.

Brief History: He was leading a normal life until his little sister went crazy, insisting that vampires were real and she got bitten by one. She ran away and he went off to college. At college he went from being the richest, smartest, best looking guy in the school to being just one of many. Finally deciding to face the many truths, he meets Arsinoe who explains The Nightworld to him. Those experiences changed him, making him less shallow and more mature. Now he’s very accepting, welcoming Bliss and her vampire boyfriend back into his life.

Strengths: He is good at pretending nothing gets to him and he is totally Zen. He knows when to take action and be brave and when to watch and be cautious.

Weaknesses: He's human. He cares about his family. Sometimes he is too deep into denial and other times not deep enough.

Quirks: He always says he doesn't want to know...but he always asks or finds out anyway.
