Full Name: Sophia Ann Eatros
Nicknames: None
Species: Human
Age: 21 (born March 5, 1986)
Occupation: University Senior in Canada; staff writer for the underground student newspaper, ‘Tis the Question.’ Sophia also loves to conduct research on intriguing topics in her spare time, which always relate in one way or another to her writings for the newspaper.
Land of Origin: USA
Family: Mom (Joan) & Dad (Chris). Younger brother by four years, Patrick. Older sister, by three years, Samatha. Samatha is currently studying for her masters in Political Science in New York; the rest of the family is living in Washington State.
Soulmate?: N/A
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 125 lbs.
Tattoos/piercings: Sophia has both ear lobes pierced and a piercing in the cartilage of her right ear and another in her navel. She is not Celtic (in fact her family line follows to Greece) but she has one Celtic tattoo - a heart, in black ink, on the inside of her right forearm (near the palm of her hand). She also has a cute wolf face, in greys and blacks with blue eyes done in the middle of her back, and a four stars tattoo in light purple w/light blue & black winds after them on the side of her left foot.
Appearance: Sophia’s dark brown hair is usually highlighted with blonde streaks, and falls to her shoulders in a choppy layered look. Her brown eyes are usually framed by black rimmed glasses, although she does have contacts. When she fixes you with her gaze, you know it - it is intense, intelligent and unafraid. Her skin isn’t pale, but isn’t tanned either, somewhere in the middle thanks to her genetics. Full lips, and a body that goes with them; curvy in all the right places she is certainly not a twig of a girl, but isn’t fat either, and she has an ample chest. Her usual attire is jeans and a t-shirt, however, there are times she will dress up, but those are few and far between, and if she does dress up it isn’t for anybody but herself.
Personality: Sophia would rather write than to be around people, but that is not to say she is dark or anti-social, she is just quiet and feels more comfortable by herself than with most people. She does have a few close friends, and if asked she will gladly hang with them for a while. She does not do anything she doesn’t mean to nor does she want praise for the accomplishments she has fulfilled in life so far. Nothing she does is to impress others nor is she instantly friendly towards others so when someone first approaches her she might come off as indifferent, sarcastic or weary. She hasn’t met anyone in her life truly worth impressing, and having reached her senior year in college she has come to believe she never will meet that equal. If she did, she might try and dress like she cared, comb her hair, and wear her contacts, but as it is she rolls out of bed and goes to class and that is the end of it.
All of this probably makes her sound standoffish, but, as said, she has close friends, is intelligent, and actually is very kind if one takes the time to talk to her more than the once. Most people don’t though due to their first impression/encounter with her, and because she usually has a dreamy expression or a frown when others see her; very rarely does she have a smile on her face. She has begun to feel trapped by her educational surroundings, and it shows in her actions and facial expressions. Sophia is ready to move on to see the world, and possibly continue on to graduate school, not stay on a campus which she feels she has outgrown.
Brief History: Sophia had a typical upper middle class upbringing. She earned her good grades, got along with her siblings, for the most part, and never really rebelled against her parents. When it came time to apply to college, Sophia wanted to spread her wings a little bit and aimed for a college in a town just outside of Marshall Lake, Canada called Black Moore University. It had a very interesting and challenging undergraduate English program, which Sophia fell in love with immediately. She was accepted, moved there, and then started rebelling a little, getting tattoos, and more than the usual, standard ear piercing, all of which only made her parents laugh, and say, ‘bring on it.’
Darkness has touched her life, however. One good friend committed suicide their junior year of high school and another went missing and has never been found the summer before their senior year. Sophia is of sound belief that the two strange instances are connected, but has not had the heart or sanity to investigate either fully. She does not like to talk about either event and is always on the look out for any strange behavior by any of her more recent college friends.
