Tattoos/piercings: Gabriel doesn't have any piercings, but he has quite a few tattoos. On his left bicep he has a stylized cross, which was the first tattoo he got. Gabe's right bicep is dominated by an abstract tribal design that curves over his shoulder and trails onto his chest. The inside of his left arm bears the words "Dei gratia" ("by the grace of God"). He has a tattoo running across his lower back and wrapping just around his sides that reads "I wasted time, and now time wastes me." (This last was the result of losing a drunken bet; Gabe never was much of a Shakespear fan.) All of his tattoos are in plain black ink.
Appearance: Gabriel radiates intensity. It shines through in his dark, chocolate brown eyes and is usually the first thing others notice about him, though the rest of his body is soon to follow. Gabriel keeps his dark brown hair cropped close to his skull, making it low-maintainence and fuss-free. His skin is tanned a deep golden color as a result of hours spent outside working on cars. His work has shaped other facets of his appearance, too- the fingers Gabriel's hands are capped with callouses, and his body is corded with ropes of strong muscle. Gabriel moves with the smooth fluidity of a predator, something that almost seems odd on some one as masculine as he. Gabriel, simply by virtue of his height and strength, can often times come off as intimidating, even if he doesn't mean to. He's strictly a jeans and t-shirt kind of man, and has only ever worn a suit to church, weddings, and funerals.

Personality: Gabriel's a little rough around the edges. A devout Catholic, he's blunt and honest to a fault. Gabe's quick, easy smile can take the sting from his brutal honesty most of the time, but even when it doesn't, he won't apologize. Like the rest of his family, Gabriel was raised to be proud of who he is and to not ashamed of the person he's become. Gabriel doesn't buy into the doom-and-gloom, moody persona that some Nightworlders adopt - he finds the whole attitude laughable. Even so, there's a raw, unfinished quality to Gabe's personality; something about him just seems a little wild and untamed, much like the wolf he is. In still moments, there's a quiet intensity that surrounds him, making it seem as though he'll burst into action at any moment. This air of uncertainty, combined with his atypical nightworld attitude renders him a strange mix of contrasts. His sense of humor tends to be sarcastic and somewhat twisted, but his laugh comes easily enough around friends. For all his intensity and intimidating looks, Gabriel is an easy-going guy with a good head on his shoulders and more patience than most.

Brief History: Gabe was the third of five children born to Teresa and David Connor. Devout Catholics, the couple had a penchant for naming their children after archangels, a fact that Raziel and Uriel aren't exactly grateful for. Their home was a curious mix of traditional Catholic values and strict adherence to Nightworld law. Strange thought it may have seemed to others, Gabriel's family was a happy, close-knit one. His father was a strict but warm man, and his stay-at-home mother had nerves of steel beneath her delicate exterior. Gabe attended a private boarding school for Nightworlders for the majority of his education, and he learned soon enough that very few NWers considered wolves their equal. Despite this, Gabe's good humor, sardonic wit, and occassional ruthlessness allowed him to rise near the top of the social order. Gabriel was a popular guy and involved in the few sports the school offered - swimming and track, mostly, although hockey was an occassional hobby, too. After he finished high school, Gabriel went to California for a year to live with his father's brother's family, getting to know the rest of the clan and learning a bit more about the world. At the end of the year he returned to Canada, but this time he was on the move. Gabe's gone to five universities at this point, never staying at any of them longer than a single semester. He works as a mechanic to pay the bills. Most recently Gabe's made his way to Marshall Lake, where family rumor says his wayward cousin Casey has made herself home.

Strengths: Gabe is an athletic man, and that is reflected in his agility and strength. Thanks to his older brothers, he knows his way around a fight and is well able to protect himself. He's not predisposed to violence, though; Gabe's got patience and a quick tongue, both of which have helped him out of more than one hairy situation. He's an ace with engines and can make just about anything run.

Weaknesses: Gabriel is incredibly loyal to his family, and would do just about anything for them. They're his biggest weakness.
