They say, "Hell hath no fury like a women" well she is the shining example of that the last person to cross her was destroyed in such a vicious manner that no one dares to speak about it fearing the same fate befalls them.
Brief History: Mara's history remains cloaked in mystery and rumors; she does speak many ancient languages and has quite a few interesting pieces of art in her private collection. It is widely believed that she caused the fall of several influential people through out history, rumors of her involvement with many of these incidents has been denied by Mara herself. She does not do anything to stop the spread of these rumors, and often call them the best form of advertisement that money could not buy.
Reports of her business dealing go back in Night World history as fall back as the days of the great Roman Empire. It is said that she was turned at the age of nineteen (a ruff life lead to her looking older) her first business deal was having two slave traders' tongues removed and selling them at their own slave market. Years passed by before there was any notice of her in history when an heir to one of the Redfern bloodline denounced Mara as thief and a liar before the head of the Redfern Family and demanded her death. Mara spent a year in confinement to her estates as the matter was investigated and the accuser's family took over half of her assets in the name of clearing her of wrongdoing.
It would seem that the family had made a fatal error in judgment in their choice of victims. In the years that followed unfavorable information became known about the family's unorthodox activities both to the Night World and to the mortal world. Many of the Family members were hunted down and killed by assassins of the Night World while a few unlucky souls perished at the hands of human mobs. Upon investigation in to the families' records, it was uncovered that Mara had committed no wrongdoing against the family and her assets plus those of the Family were presented to her.
Mara is now regarded as one of the most feared people in the Night World, she has shown a rare kindness on occasion to the Circle of Daybreak. Her reasons remain mysterious, but one knows not to turn down her hand when offered it no matter the cost.

Quirks: Stills sets time aside to honor the memories of her mother and sister in the ancient ways of her people.
