Appearance: Although she might look soft and feminine Gaia has a strength to her that transcends the warm honey coloured bangs of her hair and peaches and cream coloured skin; a strength that shows in her blue grey eyes, the colour of a storm weathered sea, that betray the sense of calm that she instils in others.
She usually keeps her hair tied back in a simple braid but prefers the feeling of it being unbound where it then falls in loose curls to below her shoulder blades. When she lived in England her mother would always tell her to tie her hair back so as not to cover her features but she hated it, now it’s just one more little thing that makes her feel a little closer to her mum.
Living in the mountains all of her life has blessed Gaia with an athletic body which she usually hides beneath one of her many pairs of Miss Sixty hipster jeans and a sweater, preferring to buy clothes that allow her to blend into the crowd.

Personality: While Gaia is by no means shy the confidence she once had has been tempered by the loss of everyone close to her and moving so far away from her home. Even after everything that has happened to her Gaia can not help but see the good in people, to see the potential for good, but even she finds it hard to allow herself to get close to the people she doesn’t know.
Gaia is a healer. Ever since she was little she’s been compelled to try and heal the sick and injured and would have been content to go on to be a healer within her circle had the fates not had other things in mind for her. Still she retains that gentle strength of a healer and the natural instinct to try and heal things that are sick and broken.
A bookworm, Gaia spends hours reading and devouring books with a hunger for knowledge that started with trying to track down the person or persons responsible for ruining her life. She now uses her skills academic, magical and otherwise to help Circle Daybreak. Although she may not agree with everything Daybreak stands for, she knows that war is coming and that like everyone else she has to choose which side she will stand with. Choosing to become a member of Circle Daybreak wasn’t an easy decision but the alternative was unthinkable. Circle Midnight destroyed her life and if they were allowed to take control they would destroy many more.

Brief History: Growing up in the lake district in England , Gaia was a member of the local faction of Circle Twilight in which her parents and grandparents before her were members.
When the various covens of Circle Twilight began to disband, the members choosing to align themselves with either Circle Daybreak or that of Circle Midnight, it seemed only a matter of time before Gaia’s circle had to make the choice as to which circle they would belong, if any.
As one of the last remaining Circle Twilight covens Gaia’s circle were visited by a member of Circle Daybreak who hoped to enlist the circles help in the ongoing dispute between Daybreak and Midnight and whilst a lot of the members, Gaia included, were in favour of a move over to Daybreak the majority of her circle voted to remain part of Circle Twilight. This was not their war yet and Gaia’s circle decided to hold on to the old ways until there was no other option.
But that choice was made for them when Gaia’s coven was attacked and destroyed by Circle Midnight members who believed that the Daybreakers visit meant that Gaia’s circle had already decided to join Daybreak.
Gaia’s parents died in the battle the ensued and as far as Gaia knows, only she survived. Fleeing England Gaia went in search of the relative safety of Circle Daybreak who she now helps in their ongoing dispute with Circle Midnight to try and stop a war that if begins will change the world forever.

Strengths: Gaia is very good at finding and retaining information and so she’s a good person to have around if you need quick access to information. Her magical speciality lies in psychometrics and healing, with an ability to glean information from objects. Sometimes the information could be a fleeting feeling and at other times be a mass of information. She is quite adept at healing practices which would make her a good asset to have in a fight.

Weaknesses: Gaia hasn’t yet learned how to control how much or how little information she gets from an object/person when she practices her psychometric ability. Without the guidance of her mother Gaia sometimes makes mistakes that she wouldn’t otherwise make. Losing everyone she has ever cared about has left Gaia afraid to get close to people for fear of losing them. No amount of healing power could save her parents and it has left her confidence in that area severely knocked. For various reasons Gaia tends not to use her healing abilities but sometimes she can’t help herself from intervening.

Quirks: Gaia loves dark chocolate with spicy chilli pepper or Tabasco, which is eaten a lot where she comes from in England, and is a habit she will never grow out of.
