Brief History: Mia was originally a lost witch and believed to be dead by the nightworld until her cousin Avi found her at a small college in Pennsylvania. Avi told her about the nightworld, and the two girls became friends until Mia fell in love with Arden, a human. Avi tried to split them up in anyway she could, including trying to kill Arden, and then kidnapping him to blackmail Mia into returning to Midnight with her. In the end, Avi had helped Mia to rescue Arden, but they separated after the rescue, Mia and Arden leaving Marshall Lake to start a new life.
