When creating a character, try to remember the rules of the night world- shifters aren't likely to have silver piercings, vampires probably aren't going to be wood workers, etc. Keep characters as realistic as possible while still being distinct and fun. In general, dragons, old souls, halfbreeds, demons, and soulmates are frowned on. These are all things that were rare in the books, so having a ton of them running around pell-mell doesn't make much sense. That being said, if you have an idea that involves one of these rare things, email the moderator and ask. If you can justify the reasoning for it, you've got a good chance of it being allowed. God knows, we have had a demon or two in our time. The mod is pretty flexible, and willing to work nearly any angle out, even if it doesn't seem possible. She loves thinking of ideas and bringing them to life!

There is also the option of adding a character quote to your profile. This is not mandatory, and is just meant to be a fun addition to your character.

For the eye and hair color sections, use one-word descriptors only. Your character might have chestnut hair with blonde highlights, but just use 'brown' when filling in the 'hair' slot. Detailed descriptions should be saved for the appearance section.

For the appearance, personality, and history sections you need to use full sentences in paragraph form. An example:
